In October 2024, our team traveled to Jacksonville, FL, to train a group from a local church in evangelism. After sharing simple yet effective techniques, we headed to a local mall to spread the Good News!
Our team of nine church members led a total of 12 people to salvation during the outreach!
While at the mall, a workshop attendee named Trish approached a young man working at an art kiosk and followed the evangelism script we had taught. When she asked if he had ever heard about God’s love and His wonderful plan for his life, he admitted that he hadn’t. The young man shared that he and his entire family were Muslim, and that fear was the foundation of their faith.
However, he had also discovered that Christianity is rooted in love! This was a divine appointment, as he was searching for something more. In fact, he had even started reading the Christian Bible on his phone!
Trish used the Gospel script provided during the workshop to lead him in a salvation prayer, sealing his decision to follow Jesus!
As their conversation continued, he shared that he felt lonely since moving from Wisconsin and didn’t have many friends in the area. At that moment, Trish invited him to church. To our delight, he realized he lived just four minutes away and eagerly agreed to come!
Praise the Lord—he attended church the very next day, marking his first-ever visit! Jeff and I preached a powerful message on the baptism of the Holy Spirit and the importance of speaking in tongues. It was a truly transformative experience for everyone present.
