November 4, 2023: Eleven Christians were equipped for one-on-one street evangelism, and we had 6 people receive Jesus through a single half-hour outreach this past weekend in Colorado Springs, CO!
I had a wonderful workshop with Spirit Life Ministries in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on November 4!
Although we had a shorter outreach time due to time constraints, we still had six salvations during our outreach in Acacia Park.
Tim, a ministry leader, later told me he was skeptical of this method during the teaching time but still went out to try it. When he went through the tract with someone and they said the sinner’s prayer, he thought to himself, “I can’t believe how easy this was!”
He went on to share: “I would have originally stopped at the first question if they knew God loved them, but the second question, “If you died today to do you for sure you would go to Heaven?” got to the heart of the matter.”
As our group was leaving the park, a Muslim man walked behind us and overheard us talking about Jesus. He began to tease us and brought up that Jesus was from Palestine. We just shared the gospel with him from the script as we went through the crosswalk. He did take our tract because he was so curious. We believe that God’s word will not return void in his life and he will turn to the Lord!
I prayed with several of the attendees for boldness to come on them, as they felt afraid to step out and share the gospel. Many in the group told me they loved the training, asked for all my materials to use in their own time, and asked if I could come and do a workshop in their church.
