A small but mighty outreach team lead 44 people to the Lord and gain hundreds of new contacts for the church for outbound prayer calls and follow up!

We were back with our friends from Real Life Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida, to help them host a booth at the local Christmas parade and carnival on December 2.

We had advised them to do a Yeti cooler as a giveaway to attract people to fill out a short survey of Gospel questions, which helped us as a small but mighty outreach team lead 44 people to the Lord and gain hundreds of new contacts for the church for outbound prayer calls and follow up!

Yeti coolers are a cool, desirable gift, so the giveaway made the people at the parade really open to talking with us. We asked them three questions in the survey about what they knew about God and the plan for salvation.

At the end, if they were willing we led them in the salvation prayer—all in response to their being interested in a free giveaway! It resulted in 44 people making a decision to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior!

Rick and Trina, the outreach directors for the church, kept saying how he couldn’t believe how easy this was. So many people just lined up in front of us to ultimately hear the Gospel! It was such a success that many on the team are excited about the “next” parade outreach!
